RE: Post-Sandy renewal

Dear Mater Dei Prep Families,

The turbulent past few weeks have been disruptive and traumatic for too many. It is our goal and mission to be part of the healing and rebuilding process for our families in the Mater Dei Prep community. With the return to school, our faculty and staff look to be a key part in the process of healing for all our students.

Student Services, as well as Campus Ministry offices are open for any student that may need assistance.. Teachers are prepared to provide a stable and familiar environment.

In Mater Dei Prep and St Mary School, Father Jeff, the administration, faculty, and staff are forming a Campus Hurricane Relief Committee of volunteers with the goal of identifying need and getting help for our school community. On a diocesan level we can expect continued material support at the local drop off and distribution center at St. Benedicts in Holmdel.

The end of the first marking period will be pushed back to November 21, 2012.

We are excited to be back together and working together to make the 2012-13 school year special.

God Bless,

Steven Sciarappa
Principal
