LADY SERAPHS DEFEAT WALL IN OPENING ROUND OF SHORE CONFERENCE The Lady Seraph Softball Team have turned some heads these past two weeks. With a record of 22 - 2 and big wins over Group 3 & 4 schools (Jackson Liberty, Red Bank Regional, Marlboro, Freehold Township), the girls are beginning to get noticed. They may have put the icing on the cake this Monday when they defeated Wall in the opening round of the Shore Conference Tournament, 2-1. The Lady Knights were seeded #2 in the tournament and have been in the top 3 of the Shore Conference Rankings all season. The Lady Seraphs came into the tournament seeded #15, undefeated in the "B" Central Division, winners of the Monmouth County Tournament White Division and not given much "love" by other coaches and sports writers in the area. Well, hopefully all that has changed. The girls continue their adventure when they play host to St. Rose on May 29th in the State Tournament and travel to either Middletown North or Howell in the next round of the SCT. Come out and see what all the noise is about. Congratulations to The Seraph Players for their Basie WINS The Seraph Players won best Choreography, Chorus, and Best Musical Director.
