DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM BROOKDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
The Dual Enrollment Program was developed in response to the 12th Grade Option initiated by the New Jersey Department of Education. The goal of this program is to give qualified high school students the opportunity to experience college courses and prepare for the academc rigor of college.
The Dual Enrollment Program allows Mater Dei Prep juniors to complete up to 12 Brookdale credits during their senior year. Credits earned through the Dual Enrollment Program may be used to fulfill college requirements.
SETON HALL UNIVERSITY
Project Acceleration is a university-based program that enables students to begin working toward their bachelor's degree as they complete their high school coursework. Sponsored by Seton Hall University since 1978, it is offered in more than 40 New Jersey and New York high schools. Participants of Project Acceleration take introductory-level college courses and earn up to 22 credits that will go on their official college transcript. More than 200 colleges and universitites accept Project Acceleration credits.
