Transfer Students

Transfer Applicants

Mater Dei welcomes motivated students who will both benefit from our school community and contribute to its success. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, or national / ethnic origin in its admissions and administrative policies.

Admission to Mater Dei is based on more than test scores grades. In reviewing a student’s transfer application, the Admissions Committee takes a holistic approach and considers all available information about each student. This includes their academic performance in their current high school, their attendance and discipline record, and their co-curricular and extra-curricular involvement.

Applicants who desire to transfer into Mater Dei from other high schools must submit the Application for Admission and the Transcript Release Form. Transfer applicants are not required to take the High School Placement Test.

Mater Dei’s acceptance of Transfer Students is subject to availability in the student’s grade level and requested course of study at time of transfer, as well as the student’s ability to graduate with their Mater Dei class.

Private Tours are also conducted throughout the year on a request basis. Interested transfer students are invited to learn more about Mater Dei by touring the school and have the opportunity during the school year to spend a day on campus shadowing a student who shares their interests.

All visits and tours are arranged through the Admissions Office. To further explore the possibility of empowering your future success by attending Mater Dei, please contact our Admissions Office at 732-671-9100 for more information and to schedule an appointment.
